If your dvd player doesn't support avi then you will need to convert the avi file. Check your dvd software, most will convert the avi to dvd for you when you go to burn a dvd movie.

不能，avi格式只能在电脑上播放，DVD机上放不了，要想放，必须格式转换，那就麻烦了，可能要花1到两个小时，并且看起来很模糊！

You can try software "ConvertXtoDVD". You can also adjust the quality of the DVD too.
