老師把他叫醒，問道：「清廷最大的敵人是甚麼？」

學生睡眼惺忪的回答：「青蛙。」

清廷 has the same pronunciation as 蜻蜓。
清廷 means the Government of Ching while 蜻蜓 means Dragonfly。
The teacher was asking who is the enemy of 清廷(Government  of Ching) but the student mistaken it for 蜻蜓(Dragonfly)。
That's why he answered 青蛙(Frog).
