Lantao Island is still a beautiful place, lots of open rural area, and the beach is not crowded.tvboxnow.com: z1 m- Y5 o3 F  v6 W8 x# y3 A0 q
I remember going ther in mid November once, went for a swim, the water was still quite warm compare with the water here.  My local friends were thinking I was a little wiered swimming so late in the season.  Much prefer places like this than up at the temple.
