.dat to DVD

I have some movies in dat format, I know i can burn them as vcd. However, I want to burn them into DVDs and can be seen on a DVD player. tvboxnow.com! s1 o; G  O! C: b  E% p
I tried to just burn a data DVD and it's viewable on some DVD players, others can't read the disc. And also, I can't change the audio channel, as in I can't change it to only left or right, that is it's speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin...
