索科特拉島,印度洋西部一群島，屬也門哈達拉毛省領土。其位置在阿拉伯半島以南約350公里，非洲之角以東，阿拉伯海與亞丁灣的交接處。該群島由4島組成，群島面積3650平方公里，主島面積3635平方公里。2008年，聯合國教科文組織將該地列入世界遺產名錄，登錄名稱為索科特拉群島。
島上人口以阿拉伯人為主，說索科特拉語，主要城鎮Hadiboh人口約43000人，有機場。棗椰、煙草、畜牧業和漁業是島上經濟支柱。
根據島上的記載，早在公元52年，島民就已經在聖多馬的指引下皈依基督教。1507年，葡萄牙人來到島上，幫助島民擺脫了阿拉伯半島上伊斯蘭教國家的控制，但是4年以後葡萄牙人離開該島，使得島民又重新淪為Mahra蘇丹的臣民。1886年，同Mahra蘇丹國一道歸入英國保護，成為英國在印度洋上的重要基地。) e- S9 A. f; T5 x" ]
1967年，索科特拉島隨南也門獨立。目前，該島是也門的領土。
