近期消息源 @TheGalox_ 在 X 平台表示，Samsung 即將發佈的 Galaxy Z Fold7 機型是基於去年推出的 Galaxy Z Fold 特別版（Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition）而打造，最主要的升級處是採用更大的 VC 均熱板、新一代處理器以及更好的揚聲器組件。

作為參考，Samsung 於 2024 年 10 月 21 日在韓國市場推出 Galaxy Z Fold 特別版（Special Edition）摺疊屏手機，是目前 Samsung Galaxy 摺疊屏機型屏幕最大的裝置，同時還是最輕、最寬、最薄的摺疊屏手機。摺疊狀態下厚度僅為 10.6mm，展開時厚度為 4.9mm，整機重量為 236g。
: d$ I1 n$ l  J3 WGalaxy Z Fold 特別版內屏採用 8吋 Dynamic AMOLED 2x Infinity Flex ，解像度為 QXGA+，屏比為 20:18，支援 HDR10+。外屏為 6.5吋 Dynamic AMOLED 2x ，屏比為 21:9。
