The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. D. Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side. , w' t; M3 J. T1 A/ V0 s* ]Followed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.tvboxnow.com/ E4 C2 }" ^- Q9 H& \" [ c+ i
Then there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.公仔箱論壇8 U* _/ B* f( b; h6 V
Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too. tvboxnow.com& i7 J. q! J* }. q
Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall. 8 W, N+ d& i! y, x8 f' j- _0 }公仔箱論壇The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.6 b7 E! T" w4 c6 c4 P* w
