some companies have incentive like if you never take MC for 1 year they pay you a sum of money as appreciation.
but then... there are other factors which i am not aware of... so maybe he has other benefits for you???

i think you're just being generous to the company for not taking sick leave, and the company doesn't necessary have to give you recognition for not taking it.  
next time, when you a sick...stay home and rest.  plus this will not spread germs in the office
